WEB Kamala Nehru née Kaul (1 August 1899 – 28 February 1936) was an Indian independence activist and the wife of Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of India. She was a prominent social reformer and an active member of the All India National Congress.

Kamala Nehru was born in Delhi to a Kashmiri Pandit family. She was educated at home before attending the University of Allahabad, where she met her future husband. After their marriage in 1916, the couple moved to Allahabad and became active in the Indian independence movement.

Kamala Nehru was a strong advocate for women's rights and social justice. She was a member of the All India Women's Conference and served as its president from 1929 to 1931. She also worked to promote education and healthcare for women and children.

In 1931, Kamala Nehru was arrested by the British authorities for her participation in the civil disobedience movement. She was imprisoned for several months before being released on bail. After her release, she continued to work for India's independence, despite her failing health.
